It's a great idea, but it needs a visionary to make it happen (me, lol). The technology is there, but the killer app is still out there. Time to dig around at MIT's Media Lab/video conferencing, hint hint. Twitter and Second Life will become a fad compared to this. Quincy's got the vision with “THE VIDEO PARTY LINE”, here in Isla Vista California, we called those progressive parties, same thing. Point being, the more you make it like a real social setting or party, the better, "keep it simple stupid" and "keep it real dude". And that takes powerful technology, not complicated UI software. Understand that people on the web want to see and meet real people in real time, just like in real life. If people wanted to be hidden and private, we would all wear masks when we go out. People are realizing this and are becoming more open and public on the web. Being presented with a live video wall of talking heads is a great start, but big video screens with full body sized video and depth of field will be next. Real video with real people in places, no more fake, virtual crap, leave that for video games. I imagine that one fun way to do this, would be to have huge interactive video walls that links one club to another. 2 or more real clubs, like one in LA and the other in NY. The only problem is taking home some girl you meet that's miles away from you. Hmm..

I WAS A MEMBER ON BROADCASTER.COM FOR OVER A YEAR AND I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THAT SITE.... IT'S FULL OF PERVERTS, AND RUDE PEOPLE.... MEMBERS WOULD ALWAYS ASK ME TO "EXPOSE" MYSELF SEXUALLY AND WOULD GET RUDE COMMENTS BECAUSE I WOULDN'T. I HAD ALSO NOTICED WOMEN WHO WERE DESPERATE AND LONELY WOULD SEXUALLY EXPOSE THEMSELVES- WHICH RUINS THAT SITE.

I thought of this idea, but i new this idea had to of been thought of already. My idea was a little different though. My idea leaned more the party line structure. When i lived in California there was this pary line that people used to call. You could conversate with many people at the same time and switch to other rooms. I think video would be great in that same party line concept. HA HA
you could call it "THE VIDEO PARTY LINE".
