I live and work in Italy and Subscribe to Sky Italia for one reason only ... to watch BBC programmes. Now the BBC has not renewed it's contract with Sky. There was no notice given and the hundreds of expats and Italians who have complained to both the BBC and Sky have had no explanation as to what is going on. The BBC states on it's EastEnders page that an outstanding 16.6 million people watched the killer cliffhanger live episode of EastEnders. Well what about the thousands of people living in Italy, some following the show for 25 years... what a kick in the teeth to be cut off at such a moment... obviously no one gave a damn about how we would all feel. I think it's an absolute scandal to be treated in such a way by both the BBC and Sky. Can someone there in the BBC have the guts to speak out and tell us what the hell is going on .
