Inspector Gadget Synopsis

The classic cartoon Inspector Gadget follows the adventures of a detective with various robotic abilities, his daughter, and their dog.

Unfortunately, Inspector Gadget isn’t very perceptive. He often stumbles into misadventure while his daughter Penny solves the case.

Together Inspector Gadget, Penny, and Brain the Dog thwart the schemes of the evil Dr. Claw and his organization called MAD.

The Venture Bros. Synopsis

The Venture Bros. premiered in February of 2003. as part of Cartoon Network’s “Adult Swim” program.

The Venture Bros. follows misadventures of teenage detectives Hank and Dean Venture, their cynical father dr. Thaddeus Venture and their sociopath bodyguard Brock Sampson. Together, they battle bizarre villains in the world heavily lampooning old Saturday morning cartoons.

The Venture Bros. so far aired three 13-episode seasons, with fourth one being scheduled for November of 2009.

The Fashion Show Synopsis

The Fashion Show is a reality TV series produced by Bravo TV network that debuted in May of 2009.

The Fashion Show is an replacement for former Bravo TV series Project Runway. It follows a number of contestants as they compete in different tasks and try to create the best clothes while each week one contestant is eliminated. The judges on The Fashion Show are Isaac Mizrahi and Kelly Rowland.

The Fashion Show aired 12 episodes.

Online video has long provided a novel way of ordinary people to find a bigger audience, deservedly so or not. But the latest YouTube phenomenon, the JK Wedding Video, is a step too far for me, because it signals that people are now playing the system to seek fame and fortune.

Famous For?

There was a time when people became famous for doing something noteworthy and deserving of attention by a bigger audience than just their friends and family. Like being a famous writer, philosopher, artist, or politician. Then it became actors and musicians. Then porn stars and reality TV contestants. And now? Now we have people who do something slightly funny and upload the video of it to YouTube.

JK Wedding Video

You’ve probably all seen the JK Wedding Video by now. If not, head on over to WebTVHub and do just that. The video shows the procession down the aisle at the wedding of Jill Peterson and Kevin Heinz. They and all their guests dance their way into church to the accompaniment of Chris Brown, the guy who is alleged to have beaten up his ex-girlfriend Rihanna not so long ago.

The Flash Synopsis

Based on the popular DC Comics superhero, The Flash follows the crime fighting exploits of the fastest man alive.

When police chemist Barry Allen (John Wesley Shipp) was injured in a lab accident, he gained the ability of super-speed, which he uses to fight crime.

With his new powers, The Flash fights criminals such as The Trickster (Mark Hamil), Captain Cold (Michael Champion), and Mirror Master (David Cassidy).

Deadwood Synopsis

Deadwood debuted on HBO from March 2004. and it was written and produced by David Milch.

Centering around town of Deadwood, South Dakota, this Western drama series follows Deadwood’s growth throughout 1870s from prospectors’ camp into real town. Series features large cast of mostly character actors playing real personalities from Deadwood’s history: Wild Bill Hickock (Keith Carradine), Calamity Jane (Robin Weigert), Wyatt Earp (Gale Harold), George Hearst (Gerald McRaney), Seth Bullock (Timothy Oliphant) and Ian McShane as Al Swearengen.

Deadwood ran until August 2006. in three 12-episode seasons.

Coupling Synopsis

Coupling is a comedy television series produced by BBC that debuted in May of 2000.

Coupling follows the story of six friends – Susan, Jane, Sally, Steve, Jeff and Patrick – who are all in their 30s. The series is follows their mishaps and adventures in the world of relationship and dating.

Coupling aired four seasons and an American version of the show was created however it was canceled after just four espiodes.
